ya bitch is roamin' southern california at the moment, but will travel literally a n y w h e r e for your wild crazy magical and passionate love story.

travel is a high key part of my life, so i am always down for an adventure — the wilder, the better, boo!

where are you based?                   do you travel?

Q

this is a hard question to answer because there really isn’t a cut and dry answer, because every wedding is so different.
i promise 75 images per hour i am booked, but it really depends on how your day is set up, how many hours you've booked me for, and if you're adding on a second shooter. regardless, you will have a full chronological gallery for whatever was packed into the hours you had booked!
a very important question — my go-to is a double cheeseburger with a large fries, a cup of water. i used to do the apple pie if i was feelin' something sweet, but i can't eat that anymore 🙃

i'm convinced that anything less than a large fries is heresy.

how many photos do you deliver?

what's your go-to mcdonalds order?

for engagement/couples and motherhood sessions, my turnaround time is 2-4 weeks, but really depends on when you get your proofing gallery back to me!
for weddings and elopements my turnaround is 6-8 weeks.

i know how excited you are to get your photos back (and i’m so excited for you to see the magic we made!), and i do my best to get the galleries back to you asap, but i spend time editing every photo you receive individually, so as to make sure each one is perfect and ready to post + print!

hell to the YES. love is love and ALL ARE WELCOME HERE!
your love is important and deserves to be documented and celebrated and ALL OF THE GOOD THINGS!

are you LGBTQ+ friendly?

after your photos have been edited, i pop a bottle of champagne, throw some glitter all over my workspace, and, giddy for you to get the notification, i upload them to your password-protected digital gallery and send them on their way!
however, that is not where it ends for me. you can be assured that i am sitting at my desk, glancing at my phone, barely breathing, waiting for  your reaction to pop in. that gallery is my pride and joy juuuust as much as it is yours, and i can’t wait to hear about just how much you love them!
as far as your images go, you can share with your friends, family, hell, even your enemies; show them how well you're doing!

you, and also your friends and your family (oh, and your enemies-now-turned-friends realizing how much wrong they did to you and wanting themselves back in your super-cool-adventure-filled lives) can download your gallery of high-res images (or original size for the super large prints that your enemies-turned-friends will now all want in their homes). you will have unlimited downloads so no worries, share with literally every person you want to!

how do we receive our photos?

nope b, you don't need it!
i've spent years learning how to pose you to highlight the qualities you like best about yourself, and i spend time getting to know you so that i can pose you the best i can for you. not for me. not for society.

i do often photoshop temporary blemishes, such as bruises, acne, and anything that isn’t a part of you for life, but that's it, baby! we like it natural around here.

do you photoshop your clients?

absolutely! photos truly come alive when they’re printed, and i offer the highest quality albums designed personally for you + your story. just ask me about them!

i also have one of the best printing labs associated with my in-gallery print shop! so when you receive your photos back you can order prints straight from there. super easy to do, and the photos print true-to-editing, so they won’t look any different than what i delivered! (unlike cheaper printing like walgreens, walmart, and even snapfish, shutterfly, etc.)

friends and family are also encouraged to order prints through there. it truly is super easy and the best way to get quality prints that are coloured correctly!

yes! i am ordained with ULC and can legally officiate a wedding.

however, if you’re planning your elopement within Nevada or New York, or somewhere outside the US, i can become ordained for those specific places. just lemme know in your email and i can get on it :)

i want to keep my elopement as small as possible; are you ordained?

this is very normal! very few people feel natural in front of a camera. it’s just the way it goes! but you won’t have to worry at all because that’s why you’ve hired me! i like to direct rather than fully pose, and i give very simple directions that are easy to follow. my clients always tell me that the photos and “poses” never felt forced or awkward, and those that felt nervous almost always reach back out and say they had the most fun and that it wasn’t weird or awkward at all!
that is always my focus, because i KNOW you have it in you to look bomb (trust me, all of my couples so far have it in them, and they would agree!)
i really just help you bring that out so that you have NOTHING to worry about when it comes to the photo portion of your wedding day.

my fiancé doesn't like photos — what do i do?

"There are few things that inspire and excite me more than photography!"

In this area write about what started your journey into photography and what it is you love about it.

You can also write about how you best serve your clients and ensure them that you will go above and beyond to make sure the feel comfortable in front of the leans and that they will love the photos.

“Every wedding, every shoot, I see the world through a whole new lens. Your story will be different from the last, and this ignites my passion all over again.”

Here’s where you can go on a deeper dive into what started your photography journey and why you love it so much – talk about your motivations and purpose, why every shoot is a new experience.

You can also write about your overall style and personality, what makes you different from all the other photographers they’ve researched. Don’t be shy!

Talk about how your photos will help them relive the day for years and generations to come.

Rain, hail or shine, I won’t miss a beat

Uncover your overall approach to the day and an overview of your process. Help them picture what it’s like to have you there on the day and why what you do is so important. Mention how you’ll help them ensure the day flows smoothly, because you’ve had loads of experience at other weddings.

For example, talk about how you’ll arrive at first light to capture the mother-of-the-bride and the bridal squad helping the bride get ready. Or the groomsmen sneaking a few drinks to calm their nerves.

Chat about how you’ll turn up after one too many coffees, buzzing with energy to capture one of the most important, memorable days in their lives, and that you won’t miss a moment.

Write about documenting the getting ready prep through to ceremony, reception and afterparty (if relevant). How you’ll be there in the centre of it all or as a wallflower behind the scenes, photographing moments and details that they might’ve missed (e.g. Aunty Doris getting drunk on the d-floor). Whether you stick to purely candid shots or will pose them for styled shots.

Disney Movies still Make me Cry
(a one-liner, fun quirk that makes you, you)

Here’s where you can delve further into your favourite things outside of wedding photography – everyone might be able to be a photographer, but there’s little quirks that make you unique – chat about that.

Maybe you can talk about your favourite hobbies, food, art or leisure activities. What you do to wind down when you’re not shooting – pets, your family, your hometown.

You can also use this opportunity to rehash your love for travelling – a great way for you to subtly remind them that you’re open to shooting destination weddings.

Remember to wrap up this section by tying it back into wedding photography. For example, “That’s a little sneak peek into my life and a few of my favourite things. No matter who and where we are, we’re all souls wandering this beautiful earth, with a different story to share. No tale is one and the same. And that’s why I LOVE documenting love stories (and hopefully yours too!)”

do you offer albums and prints?
